A lot of the time we think about all the stuff we wish we could do and don't focus enough on what we already can do. With that said, I wish with all my heart that I could draw. I have all this stuff in my head, but when I try to put it to paper it just doesn't happen. I know practice makes perfect, but I believe you have to be predisposed a bit or have an innate talent to be good at drawing. I am definitely not predisposed. Then, that brought up another thought: would I give up a talent/skill I currently have if that meant I could gain the ability to draw?

When I look at each of the things I'm good at, there isn't one up there that I would sacrifice for the ability to draw because I enjoy the talents I already have so much. I can't imagine giving up my voice to be able to draw, or giving up my writing skills. So, as much as I would love to be able to draw, I suppose I will have to leave that to other people.

So, what are your talents and what is one talent you wish you had? Would you give up a current talent it?

On a totally random and different note, I have been having these awesome dreams lately. I've been dreaming that I am a pirate and it's been so real, I wake up and wish I was back out there on the sea with all my captain and my mateys. It has affected/inspired me so much that I have started a story about it. Yay!
